This tutorial demonstration will show you how to activate your account in general. This procedure is utilized when a claimant has previously filed for benefits and has kept the PIN in their records.

Activation of Account

Select the Account Activation icon from the drop-down menu:

Enter your Social Security Number and PIN on the Maryland Account Activation portal’s home page.

Choose the Login option.

Enter a user name on the User Registration Maintenance screen, then click the Validate button.

Enter your password as well as the security questions and answers. It’s important to note that you can’t ask the same security questions twice, and you can’t use the same security answers twice.

Make a note of the User ID, then click the Login button.

Enter the Username and Password on the Claimant Account Login screen.

Choose the Login option.

You have successfully accessed your BEACON One-Stop Claimant Portal. This task is now finished.

When your PIN is forgotten, you must activate your account.

This will provide you an outline of how to activate your account if you don’t know your PIN. When a claimant has already claimed for unemployment benefits but does not have access to the allocated PIN, this job is used. Select the Account Activation icon from the drop-down menu.

Enter your Social Security Number and PIN on the Maryland Account Activation portal’s home page. Check the box next to “Don’t Have PIN or Forgot PIN.”

Choose the Login option.

Answer the questions on the Forgot PIN Maintenance screen. The challenge question is constantly changing. One of three questions may be posed to you:

  • What is your e-mail address?
  • What’s your postal code?
  • What is the address of your home?

Then choose the Save option.

Select the Validate button after entering a Username. Select and answer security questions after entering your password. It’s important to note that you can’t ask the same security questions twice, and you can’t use the same security answers twice. Choose the Save option.

Make a note of the User ID for future use, then click the Log in button.

Enter the Username and Password on the Claimant Account Login screen. Choose the Login option.

You have successfully accessed your BEACON One-Stop Claimant Portal.
